Image of JEM-1230

The JEOL 1230 electron microscope operates at a maximum accelerating voltage of 120kV, however, we usually collect data at 100kV. Equipped with LaB6 filament, it is a great screening microscope, but it can also be used to collect data from negative stained specimens, providing very contrasty images. It has a 2kx2k Tietz CCD camera.
